When looking in the hotkeys section I did not find this action. Many times I would like to temporarily stop all my Actual Windows effects and than turn them on again a little bit later. How can this be done with a hotkey? I feel like this would be a very commonly wanted action.

Dear Max,
I added your wish to our list of future changes. We'll include it to our next version.
Could you specify a reason of your temporarily stopping of AWM?
Thank you!

I second this request. For instance I deactivate AWM if I install new software. Sometimes I start&stop AWM since it occasionally doesn't apply the on-top attributes as described here:

After starting&stoping AWM everything works fine again.

I temporarily stop AWM for many reasons:
1. Sometimes AWM has a couple bugs that are fixed by simply STOP/START. For example, sometimes the "while inactive" transparency % sticks and my "while mouse-hovering" transparency % does not get picked up even though the window is active. Stop&Start fixes this.
2. When I am viewing photos, I would like to temporarily turn off Transparency effects so I can see them clearly. Since there is no hotkey for this either (maybe another feature request), a STOP/START hotkey would be a solution here too.
3. There are some other bugs I have come across that are fixed by a simple STOP/START but I can't exactly remember them (when I do I'll try to post em). Also, I understand that the STOP/START hotkey doesn't really "fix" these bugs and is only a workaround...but still, a very useful one for those wanting a quick fix instead of waiting for another release.
I understand I could probably solve alot of these problems via a title menu or system menu....but that is not as efficient as a hotkey.
Also, I would like to be clear about my request. I would like a single hotkey that upon pressing it once....it will stop AWM effects. Upon pressing it again, it will than re-activate AWM effects. I believe this would be an excellent edition to your Software.
btw, way to be on top of your game admin. You asked the right question
