Hi,
some programs do have minimized windows all over the place.
What about the possibility to change them into little icons, so
they don't eat up too much space...

Do I understand correctly that the image depicts only the first half of your message – "some programs do have minimized windows all over the place" and doesn't depict the part about icons?
Do you mean you need such windows not to take place among the taskbar button's thumbnail previews?
Could you provide a few examples of such programs? Do these windows open automatically as you start the programs? Do you need to use them later?
