It would be great if there was a shortcut or way to search for a certain open window. I.e., when one has a number of windows open, perhaps using a keyboard shortcut to open up a search box, and then as you start typing the name of a program or window, it will narrow down the resulting windows that you have open.
Like this firefox addon (which does it for open tabs):
