If Actual Tools had this feature, I could free my computer memory of yet another application (DisplayFusion)!! the ability to change desktop wallpapers sequentially and not only randomly --of course individually for each monitor.
I need this because I have two displays, and the two backgrounds are "connected" to each other every time they change (two paintings of the same artist, two pictures of animals, etc).
So: either the random sequence is the same for both, picking the same picture number from two different folders, or it just goes by them sequentially.
p.s. don't tell me to make single wide wallpapers to cover both monitors, I use a lot of pictures and don't want the headache

Please, try to install Actual Window Manager 6.4 beta 3 ( ).
It has the "Random play order" checkbox.

I did that, but now there's another problem.
The slideshow starts over when the program is restarted
(say upon system reboot or logout/login)
I guess this is no problem with random images but with sequential it is,
as the slideshow keep restarting fr om the first picture.
A non-random sequence should pick up from wh ere it left off.
