When I hit "new message" icon shows up in tray. If I right click on it in the tray I get several options, move, minimize, maximize and close. Clicking any of those cause a flash to go off up to the right hand corner of my monitor into the ethers, or back from the ethers down to the tray. But can never actually get a window open to work in.

Dear Claire,
Couldn't you specify with what program (name, version, etc.) did you discover the problem? (What "New message" are you try to get?)
And what our program are you using?
