My ThinkVantage Power Manager taskbar battery icon stopped working after I installed Actual Window Manager, and I confirmed that there is some sort of conflict between the green battery icon and AWM. The AWM starts up first and prevents the battery icon from loading. Delaying the start of AWM, by starting it manually after Windows starts for example, allows the power manager icon to load and display.
This is on a Thinkpad X61 tablet running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Is there any way a fix can be made for this issue?

John,
Thanks for the feedback. Please try to exclude the Power Manager executable in AWM's configuration.

Can you explain how to do this?
There is no Window for the Power Manager and so it is unclear how I should set this up. When I tried using a direct link to what I think the executable is (though I am not certain I linked to the right file) it didn't work.
Can you test this workaround? Or give me precise instructions so I can test it for you?
Thanks

Dear John,
Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this situation.
Please, try to exclude for example only folder C:\Program Files\ThinkVantage\Power Manager (unfortunately we don't know where Power Manager is installing).
or try to find process on Windows Task Manager for Power Manager and exclude it.
