I setup AMM to have individual picture background for each monitor - slideshow mode - I have 2 monitors.
It seems for most images, a black background is rendered.
I did a search and applied the REG file posted here
Restarted the PC.
So far, it seemed to have resolved the issue.
Please address this on your next build as it seems to be a fairly straight forward fix.

Thank you for contacting us.
Not everybody who uses our programs encounter this problem, so currently the .reg files which make changes to two registry parameters is a solution we offer the users who has this problem.
We wrote about it in the "What's new" for the version 8.11.2 (28.09.2017):
