Back in 2015 Actual Multiple Monitors 8.2.2 introduced a problem, where the AMM taskbar on a secondary monitor would sometimes remain over a full screen RDP session, hiding (and blocking access to) the taskbar in the remote session. After 9 months of back and forth with support an 8.5.x beta fixed the problem, and it has remained fixed until now.

However, after upgrading to 8.11 yesterday (on Win 7 x64) I found the problem had returned: the AMM taskbar remained on top of multiple full screen RDP windows, blocking access to the taskbars in the remote sessions.

I reverted to 8.10.2 and the problem went away.

Please re-fix this!

Thanks.

Hello, J W

I was unable to reproduce the problem.

Did the problem persist every time you maximized the RDP window/RDP window opened in full-screen mode? Or it happened only sometimes?

What size of remote desktop do you set? Do you use "Full screen" or "Use all my monitors..." options (the Display section of Remote Desktop Connection options). Does the problem depend on these options?

What are DPI settings in your system?

Are you running any third-party taskbar enhancement/desktop enhancement software?

Also please send several screenshots to support@actualtools.com:
1) Screenshot depicting your monitors layout (Configuration module of AMM > Multiple Monitors > Monitors Layout and Settings);
2) Screenshot depicting the context menu of the taskbar that remains over RDP fullscreen windows (right click on this taskbar);
3) Screenshot depicting all the taskbar settings (Configuration module of AMM > Multiple Monitors > Taskbar).

Best regards.
