Hi there, I'm trialing AWM 8.6, and was interested in the default audio device to switch from USB headphones to speakers.
I'm running Win10, x64 flavour, and am able to sel ect an alternate audio device once. If I try to switch back to the original device, fr om that point I am not able to output sound to any device.
I've tested this with my browser watching youtube, and also iTunes. Closing the browser and re-starting it does not restore the sound, while rebooting obviously does.
Do you have any suggestions?

Hello, earlmo
Does this problem appear, when our program is disabled?
How do you switch between sound devices? Via the standard "Sound" settings window?
Best regards.

Currently I simply unplug my USB headset to go to speakers, and the reverse to return. Most of the time it requires that I restart my browser for the change to take affect, but the sound never gets totally disabled requiring a reboot.
I will test using the standard sound settings window and get back to you.
Thanks,
earl

Okay, so the exact same thing happens when I change the default device using Windows settings (with AWM unloaded). Looks like it's not a bug with AWM, merely a windows feature. Back to plugging/unplugging for now.

earlmo,
Seems your problem is not associated with Actual Windows Manager.
Good luck with solving this issue.
