its been a long while since i setup AWM and i have been banging my head against the wall for nearly 2hours. i simply cannot find a way to remove the system tray icon when AWM is loaded, i know it was possible before but i just reinstalled windows and i can;t find this option anywhere.
a comprehensive google search offered up no results
how is this done in AWM settings?

Here is the option you need: Actual Window Manager -> Options -> General -> Enable tray icon.
