I'm running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise with Actual Window Manager 6.4 Beta 2.
Case 1
See the attached pic. Mouse wheel can adjust volume only when the mouse is inside the window (left). When it's outside (right), the mouse wheel can't adjust volume.
Case 2
It's similar with MIRC 7.1. Mouse wheel works only when the mouse is within the scroll bar region.
In both cases, the problem is solved by shutting down AWM.

Hello Tian Meng,
Please, uncheck the "Scroll inactive windows with the mouse wheel" option (Options -> Mouse).
