Hi,

I've been using AMM for 2 days now, and it's been great so far! However, I am having a bit of trouble with the multi-monitor taskbar option, which might have something to do with my setup.

Setup
I'm using Vista 64-bit operating system.

I have an external monitor attached to my laptop. The monitor is on the left side, and my laptop screen is on the right side. It's an extended desktop configuration. Since I'm using the keyboard of my laptop, the laptop screen is the primary screen, and the monitor is the secondary screen.

My Windows taskbar is placed vertically on the left side of my laptop screen on autohide. This does mean, yes, it's basically right on the boundary where the two screens meet each other, but it does pop out on the laptop screen and not on the monitor. However, the mouseover tooltip descriptions of the windows do pop up on the monitor instead.

The Problem(sorry if it's a bit long)
I didn't have any trouble with the multi-monitor taskbar at first. I set it up to match my usual taskbar, on the left side of the external monitor with mirror, start button, notification area, and clock, and I also made it autohide as well. But later in the day, I was having trouble with the taskbar appearing underneath rather than above my Chrome window, so I disabled the multi-monitor taskbar and reenabled it.

When I finally got the secondary taskbar to show up again, it thought that it belonged on the laptop screen and not the monitor. Instead of appearing on the left edge of the monitor, it appeared on the bottom of my laptop screen. After a lot of fiddling, I found had to move my primary taskbar to any other edge of the laptop screen, forcing the secondary taskbar to realize it belonged on the monitor. I tried this several times just to be sure.

After both taskbars were restored to the left edge of their respective screens, I realized the Windows button on my keyboard wouldn't make the Start menu of my primary taskbar pop open unless my cursor was on taskbar or somewhere on the monitor, excluding on top of the secondary taskbar. If the cursor was on the secondary taskbar, a misshapened Start menu would pop up instead.

When multi-monitor taskbar was disabled, my cursor could be anywhere on either screen and the Start menu of the taskbar would still pop open when I press the Windows key, so my assumption is that AMM recognizes my left edge taskbar as part of the secondary monitor screen rather than part of the primary laptop screen.

Hopefully something can be done about this?? I would really like to use the multi-monitor taskbar feature!
