When scrolling inactive windows is enabled, active windows scroll is also affected.

When scrolling 3 mouse wheel clicks in quick succession (on my mouse), the program speeds up scrolling to the point where it jumps the the top or bottom of the document.

While this may be considered useful to some people, I think the delay should be increased and an option to turn it off completely given.

Also, for actual inactive windows, it needs to use the system scroll speed, it seems too fast.

Lewis,

What values are established in Wheel tab of Mouse Properties (Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers\Mouse)?

Do you use another software for working with your mouse?

I had a similar problem since upgrading AWM from 6.2 to 6.3. in both my Chrome and Maxthon browsers.

The symptom is the mouse wheel whould randomly cause rapid scolling to the top or bottom of a page. The browser would become unresponsive for a few seconds, and I also noticed Task Manager showed unusually high processor usage during that time. I also found the scrolling to be erratic in some other programs (i.e. Outlook) but not to that extreme.

I am using a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, but don't have Setpoint installed as I think Setpoint is bloatware and unnesessary. I'm using the built in stock Windows 7 (x64) HID mouse driver. My mouse wheel setting is set to 3 lines per click.

I tried disabling the AWM rules for the browsers but didn't see a difference. I had to completely remove AWM from memory to stop the problem from happening.

I downgraded AWM back to 6.2 and no longer have the problem, so it appears to indicate that AWM 6.3 is causing the issue, or is incompatible with something else in my system.

Mouse scroll settings:
Horizontal - Slowest (0/10)
Horizontal Accelerated - 2/10
Vertical - Slowest (0/10)

Also I got a message saying Vasiliy Ivachev had posted a message that this was fixed in the latest update,
but I can't find anything about an update and when I check through the application, it says I'm using the latest version.

Lewis,

Were found some bugs after the release of the product (with scrolling inactive windows).
These bugs have been fixed and the boot file has been replaced.

Try to re-download and re-install AWM 6.3.

Inform me about your results.

Best regards!

I just re-downloaded AWM 6.3 and installed it.

My mouse scroll problem seems to have gone away now.  It has only been a few minutes of testing, but that is all it took before to experience the problem.  So far so good.

OK I spoke too soon.  The problem still exists, especially within Chrome.

Unchecking the "Scroll inactive windows with mouse wheel" option helps alleviate the problem.  It seems to stop the uncontrolled scolling to the top or bottom of a page, but the scolling still jumps farther than the 3 lines I have set in Windows mouse options.

AWM 6.2 did not seem to exhibit this problem.

To make it easier for both of us, I'll stop posting/responding in both open threads regarding this issue.  From this point forward I'll only respond in this thread.
