Hello, i previously used the included wallpaper option in AWM but i do not like it so i installed another app, this app works flawless unless AWM is running. Then whenever i choose another wallpaper it takes some time and i get a one color image.

Hello, Johan
Thank you for contacting us.

Have you changed the background settings of AWM in the AWM configuration module to Current Windows Background?
Have you tried to change background in Windows settings to any other picture or solid color before starting the other application? Could you try to do this?
Please, specify the application you use now to manage wallpaper.

Could you clarify what exactly you didn't like about the feature?

You need to exit AWM completely and go to %appdata%\Actual Tools and delete the Actual Window Manager folder. This will reset the most settings to default.
Best regards.

I've had similar issues with the alignment getting thrown off when switching between monitor profiles. Usually, checking the 'Ignore wallpaper changes' box in the Actual Window Manager settings helps, but sometimes the source image itself is just the wrong aspect ratio for a clean center-crop. Lately, I’ve been using to quickly strip out backgrounds or create clean, solid-fill versions of my wallpaper assets before I set them. It’s a lot faster than opening a heavy editor just to prep a simple background image so it doesn't look 'messy' when centered. Are you using a span-across-all-monitors setup or individual wallpapers for each screen? Sometimes that changes how the software handles the positioning.
