Are there any plans to update things to support High DPI displays better? I'm attaching a picture of what the desktop switcher looks like compared to 10pt text on my Surface Book.

Yes, we have plans to implement the support of increased DPI, but it's a difficult task since Windows 10 has such approach to DPI management when you can change DPI independently for each monitor. So, for now i cant't tell you when exactly this will be implemented.
