Thanks for the reply and effort into trying to sort this out.
I find it odd as before windows 10 my controller stayed active on Window 1 whilst I could use my mouse on window 2. However it isn't a big problem, more of a slight annoyance.
If different games act differently then it is fine, not to worry. I just means a click of the mouse button back on window 1 when I am ready to resume gaming
