Hello Cliff.
The problem has been confirmed and the trigger is the "Show the buttons in group preview" option on the "Taskbar" tab of AWM.
We'll try to fix it.

Any progress or hope for a fix in 7.3?
I'm still in 7.0, but I keep getting a popup to upgrade to 7.2.
Or is there a workaround for 7.2, so I can upgrade?

Hello cliff.
For now i can't tell whether this bug will be fixed in 7.3.
The only workaround is to disable the "Show the buttons in group preview" option on the "Taskbar" tab of AWM.
